A little bit about Threadbare..

We have been designing and selling our patterns for over 17 years and hope to continue to inspire people like yourself for years to come! We are most notably known for the whimsical wearable art found in our vests, jackets, and dresses! Here at The Threadbare Pattern Company, we strive to design and develop products that will make sewing/quilting fun and easy! Our pattern line includes patterns for both beginners and advanced sewers. We will be happy to assist you in choosing a pattern that you feel will meet your level of experience.

Have you met our leading lady? Our head designer, Cheryl Reinhard Jukich, has been featured in Best Loved Designers Collection: “Quick-Sew Celebrations” and “Quick-Sew Quilts”. In 1999, That Patchwork Place released her fun and informative book entitled, “Just Like Mommy: Easy Matching Clothes for Mom and Kids”. You may also have seen her on TV sharing her experience and techniques worldwide. If gardening or just enjoying your porch with friends inspires you, check out her newest book, “Aunt Susie’s Back Porch”. It contains easy projects and tasty quick recipes.

Industry firsts from The Threadbare Pattern Company..

Cuddly jackets!!! Click on our Shaggy Plush Series category to see our “Thready Bare Jacket” pattern, the first sewing pattern to use this warm cuddly material previously used for just teddy bears! Don’t forget to see our children’s jackets too!

Think you can’t make a quilted garment using a sweatshirt? Well, you can with our Quik-Quilt technique! All you need is a machine, a sweatshirt, fabric scraps, and creativity to turn a humble sweatshirt into a quilted jacket or dress! We offer individual patterns using this technique and also our “Quik-Quilt Book One”. Once you learn this technique, you can use your imagination to create a personalized jacket or dress sure to amaze everyone!

Happy Stitching!

Cheryl & Threadbare Staff
